- Q. What qualifications do Central Training Services offer?
A. S/NVQ or CPCS Card in Plant Operations, NVQ in Occupational Health & Safety, IOSH Managing Safely and IOSH Working Safely, CCNSG Nationally Accredited Safety Passport Scheme. RTITB, IPAF and/or PASMA Certification.
- Q. Who arranges any eligible grants from CSkills?
A. These are payable to In-Scope companies, and if required Central Training Services will assist in claiming these grants and will notify CSkills for clients.
- Q. Do Central Training Services have a quality system?
A. Yes: Central Training Services are BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008 accredited by the British Standards Institute, and are a recognised Investors in People company.
- Q. What type of customers do Central Training Services train?
A. Central Training Services clients range from small businesses to large national companies such as Scottish Power, Ogilvie Group and organisations such Local Authorities.
- Q. What are the duration of the courses?
A. The duration of each course is based on operator experience, certification required and the type of machinery. Courses vary from 1 to 10 days as required.
- Q. Do the trainees receive a certificate?
A. Yes: Upon successful completion of the course (and payment of course invoice).
- Q. Are the courses classroom based?
A. No: Courses are highly participative, mainly practical with classroom sessions only as required.
